I was lucky enough to get both the Covergirl + Olay facelift firming makeup plus the De-Puffer eye concealer free from BzzAgent to give it a try.   I am absolutely loving it!!  It really does make my skin look better.. And why not.. It has 2 great products in it.  Covergirl AND Olay!!  I will definitely repurchase it!!  It is rare that I find a product that I can honestly tell that something has changed and is working for me.  I used to be allergic to Olay products.  However, that was years back and because of the changes through the years I have been finally able to use the product.  My mom loves this as well and she looks so good!  I can really tell it is softening the lines around my eyes.  I was looking for something to keep the wrinkles at bay.  This really has helped. It is a bit pricey but if you get it on sale and add a coupon it is more than worth it!  #GotItFree and #GetALift

MEME Boxes.. Are they worth it?

Meme boxes are all the rage according to what is going on YouTube these days.  A lot of the "Beauty Guru's" are getting free boxes to show their subscribers.  I have to admit, I got sucked in.

Okay.. Did you notice that last sentence?  "we’ll make sure it’s worth the wait."  And wait you will!   I ordered the Memebox Global #16 box on July 7th.  After a month and a half went by I thought.. where the heck is my box?  My order keeps saying "Ready for Shipment".  It has said that from the moment I ordered it.  I decided it was worth contacting the company to ask when my box will ship out. (It did not say at the time I ordered although now they do have it on the site) Their answer was "Shipping starts on Oct 24th!"  I mean seriously?  It will ship out the end of October and it says that it will take anywhere from 15~25 Business Days to get to me.. So, if you think about it.  I ordered a box the beginning of July and won't get it until sometime towards the end of November.  They did say they were currently working on collecting the items they are going to be included in the box.  I would think they would already have them since it is a themed box.  I am subbed to several different subscription boxes and while I understand these are "special" and coming all the way from Korea, I think it is unacceptable to take so long to even ship the box out.  Of course they didn't say this when I ordered the box.  They took my payment the day I ordered it.  Granted, I am excited to see what might be included in the box and I hope they are right in that they will "make sure it's worth the wait."  Will I order another Memebox.. That remains to be seen.  Some of the YouTuber's who are unboxing these Memebox's get them free and they never know when one will show up in their mailbox (as a few guru's I am subbed too have said).  It seemed that they shipped out fairly quick because some were unboxing several Memeboxes in a short amount of time.

I just wanted to put this all out there for the unsuspecting customer that orders a box and doesn't realize that the wait is so long.   I have watched tons of unboxings and it does make me want to order more but how will I know I will like the box when it takes so long to get it. 

I also want to add that this is not a monthly subscription service.  You only order a box if you want one.  It isn't sent on a monthly basis like most other subscription boxes.  So there is no having to cancel the service.

Unfortunately this may be a one time purchase for me.  I will come back with a photo and update when I do finally get this box.  I hope it will be worth the long weight.. So far it has been 4 months. and I have 2 more months to go before I even get the box.. I don't get how people keep posting these unboxing so fast.. Probably most are sent to them free automatically..  From what I have seen, you do get a lot of products for the money, so that is still enticing enough to maybe try another one.  It is just  hard to wait so long.  Especially because some people want to get one before deciding if they want to buy another one. 

Michael Todd Organics.. Buyer beware!!

Michael Todd Anti Aging Regime : Intensive Organic Eye Cream

 

I had been watching a lot of YouTuber's talk about Michael Todd True Organics products that I decided to bite the bullet and buy the Anti Aging System. 

I am not happy with Michael Todd.  One of the items didn't work (It wouldn't come out of the stick it came in) so I went on the site and they said I had to soak the intensive eye treatment in hot water. So I did that and the crap looked like a greasy mess. Not knowing what it was suppose to look like, I used it anyway.  When I woke up in the morning, My eyes were swelled shut!!!!!!  Oh.. and btw.. I had emailed them months before to see about getting a replacement on the intensive eye treatment but they never contacted me back.  So, I just left it in my medicine cabinet for a good while until I watched yet another video about them.  Someone was saying they had great customer service.  So I decided to try emailing them again and they told me it was too late for them to do anything because I waited too long before I used it.  Umm.. Okay, I did try the rest of the system except for the eye treatment since again, it was broken.  I did a search on their site and ended up finding a fix for it.  Evidently this has been a very common problem.  You would think they would have contacted us buyers to let us know what to do if your product doesn't come out of the tube.  So after reading how to fix it, I had tried it. but again, the next morning my eyes were swollen shut.  I let them know what happened to me and they didn't really care.  They told me they won't do anything for me, they then invited me to buy more products from them.. yeah right.. make this good and we will talk.  I did want to buy the Clear Bi-Light Laser, which is even more expensive, but I would be afraid if I didn't like it or if it was broken I would be told they can't take it back. I would think a company this large and popular on YouTube  would try to make this right.  Unfortunately, I will never feel comfortable enough to buy from them again.  For YouTube guru's that they send the products for free to review, they say they want to find the right product for you.  However, but for regular customers they won't do it.. you are shit out of luck.

Fit Tea?  Does it work?  Or is it all hype?

I notice on YouTube a ton of beauty "guru's" and the like, are suddenly promoting Fit Tea.  While I know they are being sent these samples to try and then are asked to review it on their channels, I can't help but wonder if it truly works?  I normally don't ask for others to comment letting me know if they have tried this, but have to ask if anyone uses it and have gotten any real results?  If you do read this, please let me and anyone else know what experiences you have had with this product!!  I am dying to try it but am hesitant to try a product that is so heavily sponsored on YouTube.

I have tried a few of the new Olay Fresh Effects line and am very happy with them!  Years back I was allergic to Olay but when the ProX line came out I decided to try it again and fell in love!!
